Received a thoughtful text from a dear friend whom I used to see on a daily basis (throughout my 20s) and now haven’t had the chance to see in over 5 years. He spoke of mid-west thunderstorms, Grain Belt Premium and South Minneapolis duplex porches… Here’s to wonderful memories.
which then had me craving a CC Burger at the CC Tap…
Thanks for the walk down memory lane, my dear friend Scott!
I’m suppose to be packing. Instead, I’m hanging out with my fella’s (you can’t see Ringo’ but he’s chillin’ on the couch with us) and watching Triple D…
I’ll get packed. I willlllllll!
Where I used to live…
But now this part of town is all hoytie toytie. What the f??
If I could be anywhere right now, at this moment, I’d rather be here:
Cé Bhréannain Pier - County Kerry, Ireland
Of course, that’d be after I finished the crab sammy and a pint of Guinness at Mulally’s B & B.
I would really like to post my favorites from 2011, but I haven’t taken time to think about what those are.
So, in the interim, I give you one of my favorite places…from NYE 1999.
Liberty Hall, Lawrence, KS
I fell in love here.
Also, I saw Hadacol that night, ate cheese balls and rang in the year 2000 in the back of a van with the entire band (and Jim Bradt and Mark Downey).

Have you been here? I have. Many times. I used to live near Volunteer Park back in the late 80s early 90s. I sure miss this place…and the view.
